A Prophetic Word for This Season
Have you ever felt stuck—like you are standing in the middle of a situation that feels empty, barren or desolate?
The Lord is saying to you right now: Speak life and move forward!

In 2 Kings 4, we see a powerful thread of divine intervention running through the life and ministry of the prophet Elisha. None of the stories in that chapter started in hopeful places, but each one ends in supernatural breakthrough. Why? Because God responds to faith-filled action. And the Lord still does today.
Let’s draw from these four prophetic moments and see how they apply to us right now:
The Widow’s Oil (2 Kings 4:1–7)
The oil is a picture of the Holy Spirit’s anointing. It only stopped flowing when there were no more vessels. That means: if you keep making space, God will keep pouring. To the one who feels like you have nothing left, the Lord asks, “What do you have in your house?” Start with what you do have, and watch God multiply it.
The Shunammite Woman (2 Kings 4:8–37)
She made space for the presence of God through her hospitality—and received what she didn’t even ask for. Honouring God in the hidden places attracts prophetic visitation. Even when her promise died, she laid it on the prophet’s bed and said, “It is well.” What faith! Some of your dreams or promises may feel lifeless, but God is about to breathe again.
The Poisoned Stew (2 Kings 4:38–41)
In a company of prophets, what was supposed to nourish them nearly killed them. Elisha discerned the root and purified the stew with flour—a symbol of grace and truth. Churches and ministries today need this same prophetic “flour” to heal what’s been contaminated by wounded theology or broken relationships. The Lord is raising up voices to purify what’s been poisoned.
Feeding the Hundred (2 Kings 4:42–44)
Elisha declared multiplication before it happened. Just like Jesus feeding the 5,000 later on, this foreshadow reminds us: God multiplies what we surrender. Your “not enough” is more than enough when the Spirit of God touches it.
Here’s the key thread in all these stories:
Every prophetic word requires a faith response. Don’t just hear the word—act on it. James 1:22 says, “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”
So how do we move forward?
Speak life, not death. Speak faith, not fear. Speak forward, not stuck.
Trust God beyond logic. The Lord’s instructions don’t always make sense in the natural - miracles rarely do.
Don’t give up when it takes time. Faith holds on, even when feelings fade.
I believe dead things are coming back to life. Dreams are receiving breath again. Ministries are being healed. Families are being restored. But it starts with obedience!

Pray this out:
Lord, let Your oil flow into every empty place.
Breathe life into what’s dead.
Heal what’s been contaminated.
Multiply what I have surrendered.
I choose to SPEAK LIFE and MOVE FORWARD. In Jesus Name
The Spirit of God is saying: It’s not over. It's not the end.

"Your “not enough” is more than enough when the Spirit of God touches it."
Amen!
